• Fresh & Healthy: Fall Harvest – Community Supported Agriculture (Week 10)

    We enjoyed our Fall Harvest with our Local Farm with Community Supported Agriculture program.   We are now done with the Fall Harvest.  The Fall harvest was 10 weeks long through our farm and we received a lot of wonderful produce as well as fresh eggs!

    Items in our Basket this Week:

    • 1 large bundle Greens
    • 1 large bundle Carrots
    • 3 large Beets
    • 5 large Sweet Potatoes
    • 1 large bag fresh Pecans
    • 2 heads of Broccoli
    • 1/2 Dozen Fresh Eggs

  • Fresh & Healthy: Fall Harvest – Community Supported Agriculture (Week 9)

    We are enjoying our Fall Harvest with our Local Farm with Community Supported Agriculture program.   We are now getting close to the end of our fall harvest only one more week left.  The Fall harvest is 10 weeks long through our farm.  We are thrilled to get the produce and fresh eggs.  Our family is doing a half share again for this harvest.

    • 1 large bundle Turnips and Greens
    • 3 Beets
    • 3 Brown Potatoes
    • 2 Sweet Potatoes
    • 1/2 Dozen Fresh Eggs (not pictured, already had those put away)

    We are enjoying our Fall Harvest with our Local Farm with Community Supported Agriculture program. With the Thanksgiving Holiday being on Thursday we decided it would be better not to have to juggle picking up produce in between all the family Holiday fun so we received a full share this week.    We are now getting close to the end of our fall harvest only two more weeks left.  The Fall harvest is 10 weeks long through our farm.  We are thrilled to get the produce and fresh eggs.  Our family is doing a half share again for this harvest.

    • 1 bag Snow Peas (LOVE them)
    • 5 Beets
    • 2 Brown Potatoes
    • 4 Sweet Potatoes
    • 2 Spaghetti Squash
    • 2 Yellow Onions
    • 2 Yellow Carrots
    • 1 Dozen Fresh Eggs

  • Fresh & Healthy: Community Supported Agriculture (Week 7 & Week 8)

    It is our seventh and eighth week receiving fresh produce from our CSA!  Our family purchased a half of share and will be receiving fresh produce, local honey, eggs and more for 20 weeks.   Jake picked up the fresh veggies this week, we got a full share this week since we have been traveling.

    • 3 – Cucumbers
    • 3 – White Potatoes
    • 2 – Red Potatoes
    • 1 Squash
    • 1 bag Green Beans
    • 1/2 bag Red Okra
    • 1/2 bag Green Okra
    • 1 bag Pink, White, and Light Green Beans
    • 1 bundle Beets
    • Dozen Fresh Eggs
