Song: Times by Tenth Avenue North
No one is perfect. Sometimes we like to think that we have it all together when in reality we need Him even more! There are times when we need to peel back all the layers and brokenness to experience true healing.
I know I need You
I need to love You
I’d love to see You but it’s been so longI long to feel You
I feel this need for You
I need to hear You
Is that so wrongOh oh, oh oh, oh oh
Now You pull me near You
When we’re close I fear You
Still I’m afraid to tell you all that I’ve doneAre You done forgiving
Or can You look past my pretending, Lord
I’m so tired of defending what I’ve become
What have I becomeHold My Heart by Tenth Avenue North
How long must I pray
Must I pray to You
How long must I wait
Must I wait for You
How long till I see Your face
See You shining throughI’m on my knees
Begging You to notice me
I’m on my knees
Father, will You turn to meOne tear in the driving rain
One voice in a sea of pain
Could the maker of the stars
Hear the sound of my breaking heart
One life, that’s all I am
Right now I can barely stand
If You’re everything You say You are
Would You come close and hold my heartSo many questions without answers
Your promises remain
I can’t see but I’ll take my chances
To hear you call my name
To hear you call my nameSong: “Let It Go” by Tenth Avenue North
My intention was to share another great song by Tenth Avenue North when I was drawn to this one. After listening to it a couple times it stuck in my mind for several hours. How often in my life do I try to take control or at least want to feel like I am in control of my life? He wants me to just “let it go” and allow him to work in my life.
What do I love?
What do I hate?
What will I lose?
What will I gain?
How do I save my soul?
What if I bend?
What if I break?
What will it cost?
What will it take?
For you to save my soul. You say let it go, You say let it go
You say life is waiting for the one’s who lose control
You say You will be, everything I need
You said if I lose my life it’s then I’ll find my soulSong: “Healing Begins” Tenth Avenue North

It is easy to put walls up around us when we are going through a trial. The tough times are when God is molding and stretching us. Just because someone looks like they have it all together, doesn’t mean everything’s perfect, God knows our hearts. Having the support and prayers of family, friends, and church body makes an eternal impact on our lives. Do you have family and friends praying for you? Are your walls coming down?
