• Song: Flawless by Mercy Me

The cross is enough.  Yes, we have the ability to chose right from wrong, but God’s goodness and grace covered our sin on the cross.  The cross has made us flawless through his sacrifice because we cannot do it on our own.

    There’s got to be more
    Than going back and forth
From doing right to doing wrong
‘Cause we were taught that’s who we are
Come on get in line right behind me
    You along with everybody
Thinking there’s worth in what you do

Then like a hero who takes the stage when
We’re on the edge of our seats saying it’s too late
Well let me introduce you to amazing grace

    No matter the bumps
    No matter the bruises
    No matter the scars
    Still the truth is
    The cross has made
The cross has made you flawless
    No matter the hurt
Or how deep the wound is
    No matter the pain
    Still the truth is
    The cross has made
The cross has made you flawless

    Could it possibly be
    That we simply can’t believe
    That this unconditional
Kind of love would be enough
To take a filthy wretch like this
And wrap him up in righteousness
But that’s exactly what He did

Take a breath smile and say
Right here right now I’m ok because
    The cross was enough

Then like a hero who takes the stage when
We’re on the edge of our seats saying it’s too late
Well let me introduce you to grace grace
    God’s grace

    No matter what they say
Or what you think you are
The day you called His name
    He made you flawless

  • Song: Greater by MercyMe

What a wonderful reminder that He is so much greater than our mistakes!  Thankful for a Heavenly Father that shows me grace everyday.  Sometimes I struggle with “what would people think” rather than being secure in Christ and graciously allowing him to free me from those fears or doubt.  So glad He really is greater!

    Bring your tired
    Bring your shame
    Bring your guilt
    Bring your pain
    Don’t you know that’s not you’re name
You will always be much more to me

Every day I wrestle with the voices
That keep telling me I’m not right
    But that’s alright

‘Cause I hear a voice and He calls me redeemed
When others say I’ll never be enough
And greater is the One living inside of me
Than he who is living in the world
    In the world
    In the world
And greater is the One living inside of me
Than he who is living in the world

    Bring your doubts
    Bring your fears
    Bring your hurt
    Bring your tears
    There’ll be no condemnation here
You are holy, righteous and redeemed

    Every time I fall
There’ll be those who will call me
    A mistake
    Well that’s ok

There’ll be days I lose the battle
Grace says that it doesn’t matter
‘Cause the cross already won the war
    He’s Greater
    He’s Greater

  • Song: “Here With Me” by MercyMe

Thankful that we serve a God that longs to have a relationship with us.  Sometimes I find myself thinking why would he want to spend time with me?  It’s during those times I am reminded of His amazing love even when I fail.  I have found that when my heart is focus on things above all of the other things in life tend to fall into place.

    I long for your embrace
    Every single day
To meet you in this place
And see you face to face

    Will you show me?
    Reveal yourself to me
    Because of your mercy
I fall down on my knees

And I can feel your presence here with me
Suddenly I’m lost within your beauty
Caught up in the wonder of your touch
Here in this moment I surrender to your love

  • Song: “This Life” by MercyMe

This is a great reminder of what our life should look like to others “this life was meant to shine.”  Our life on this earth is not forever so we need to make the most of each day.  May we continually look for ways we can make a positive impact on the lives of others.  Love this phrase –  “Every moment is a chance  to let your light break through”!

    This is not my home
    (this is not my space)
    This is not my style
    (this is not my place)

    Can’t get comfortable
    (cant get settled in)
    Simply don’t belong
    (cant get used to this)

    But I’m here right now
    (I can hear you say)
    Make the most of Me
    (this wont go to waste)
If I’m out of my mind
    (yeah its all for Christ)
    If I’m making sense
    (then get it right)

    Every moment is a chance
To let your light break through

This life (oh oh oh oh)
This life was meant to shine

  • Song: “I Can Only Imagine” by MercyMe

We are surrounded by the glory of God’s creation every day.  I am thankful for the wonderful family, beautiful scenery and amazing blessings He has given me.  If life on earth has so many awesome moments “I can only imagine” how truly amazing heaven will be.

  • Song: “God With Us” by MercyMe

I have heard this song multiple times but two weeks ago I a phrase in this song jumped out at me and has been stuck in my mind.  Great song!  The phrase that has stood out to me is “Such a tiny offering, compared to Calvary”  The time I take to have quiet time, taking a meal to a friend in need, eating healthier, and other activities are such a tiny offering when you look at what He did for me.  Yet there are days I complain about the busy schedule and curve balls life throws my direction when those are merely speed bumps to get my attention.  Hope you enjoy this song as much as I did.

  • Song: “Beautiful” by MercyMe

I have been blessed with two beautiful daughters.  We all have been created by a loving God who made each of us beautiful and unique.  I am thankful for the uniqueness in each of my girls.  This song is to remind every girl and woman that you are a beautiful treasure in the heavenly Father’s eyes!

There are times in life that God brings storm to strengthen our love and faith. No matter the size of the storm may we turn our eyes to Him. Although the storms are tough, it is through these seasons of life He is able to mold us into the people he wants us to be.
