As we reflect on the meaning of the Easter Holiday I am reminded of a Savior who sacrificed his life so that I might live. “Hallelujah for the Cross” because He has defeated death and took my sin on Him. Love this song and it great reminder of how instrumental Jesus and the cross are in the lives of believers.

Thankful for his love and grace that covers us even though we have done nothing to deserve it. It has been neat teaching the girls about God because they have that fascinating and amazing awe when we talk about the various events in the Bible. Hopefully, we never lose our awe of the amazing grace of God in our lives. Let’s never forgot the numerous ways He impacts our daily lives, extends us grace, and forgives us even though we fall short.

I love the line “for all you’ve done and yet to do”! Thankfully His work in my life and in this world is not finished. He continues to reveal Himself to those who serve Him. Not only is He famous, He is patient, merciful, kind, and loving even when we least desire it.

There are a lot of times during our life when we are thinking about what is best for us. When we give Jesus our heart and lives there is so much more for us to give. Our agenda and schedule may not be the same plans He has for us. If we truly give Him our heart how much more important is it that we follow His leading.
