Our girls love items that glow in the dark. When I first heard this song it made me smile because as a Christian we should be the shining lights in a dark world. He can give us the light, hope, and strength we need to shine our lights to those around us.

When we have a need what do we do first? Do we try to do it on our own? Do we seek God first? Are we seeking God so he can “fix” our problems or truly seeking His wisdom first? May we keep our gave upon Him for all our cares.

There is someone who will walk through the deep waters with you. We are never alone. There is no reason to fear or feel overwhelmed. There have been times in my life that I have had to go through hard times and I have some close family and friends that are going through a difficult season in life. Where does our help come from? Does it come from our Savior or do we turn to everything else first? He is ready to help us. Our help should from the one who can carry the weight on his shoulders. The one who has our lives in His hands.

The cross is enough. Yes, we have the ability to chose right from wrong, but God’s goodness and grace covered our sin on the cross. The cross has made us flawless through his sacrifice because we cannot do it on our own.

Beautiful song for the Christmas Season. God is with us. He came to earth as a child, lived a perfect life, yet took our place on the cross to pay the price for our sin and shame. There are so many reasons to be singing Hallelujah this Christmas.

It is amazing to think that a young Child born in a manger can bring so much hope and joy. People all over the world get to hear the wonderful news during this Christmas Holiday. May we share with those around us! We have a lot of reasons to sing His praises!

The Christmas Season brings up a lot of memories. I remember as a little kid my Grandma Willa going through the Christmas story on her flannel bulletin board. Seeing the star over Bethlehem, the animals, baby Jesus, and the gifts the wise men brought to this precious Child. May God accept the offering that we give to Him this Christmas Holiday.
